Chinese Cedar

Chinese cedar, or Cryptomeria japonica, is an aromatic conifer native to East Asia with a distinctive woody-green aroma. The scent is lighter and fresher than Western cedar varieties, with a subtle sweetness and a clean, almost minty quality.

In perfumery, Chinese cedar adds an elegant, refined woody character with an Asian sensibility. It pairs well with other woods, green tea, citrus, and incense.
