Civetta

Civetta is the Italian term for civet, the animalic musk historically obtained from the African civet cat. Today, this note is recreated synthetically.

The scent, when diluted, adds a warm, sensual, deeply human quality to fragrances that makes them feel alive and intimate. In perfumery, civetta notes are used in tiny amounts to add warmth, depth, and fixative power.

They pair beautifully with florals, amber, and musks.
